A little different blog post for today. Not the usual Korea related posts.
I just came back from my first ever media launch event with my sister, Kelynn who is invited to the event.
Back to the media launch of IONITHEMIE BODY CONTOURING TREATMENT by Suddenly Slender (SS).
It was held @ Holiday Inn Orchard. The Venue was really pretty.

The event start by introducing Suddenly Slender (SS).
Singapore – Suddenly Slender (SS) was founded by Vera Chua in 2009.
They provides various of services ranging from different kinds of Slimming Treatments as well as Facial Treatments.
After which they start talking more about the IONITHEMIE BODY CONTOURING TREATMENT (IBC).
IBC originated from Paris, France. French Biochemist Oliver Fouché created it in 1978.
It was originally invented to help treat arthritis but slowly more benefits was discovered.
Benefits include detoxifying the body, emulsifying cellulite and increasing metabolic rate.
IBC has gone through 7 years of clinical researches and trials.
The results indicate 1-8inches loss in the treated areas of the body on 96% of the subjects.
Next they show a LIVE DEMO of the IBC treatment.
FYI: If you didn’t know, Suddenly Slender (SS) was the EXCLUSIVE distributor for this treatment and also the FIRST to bring it into Asia. How awesome!!

Curious about how IBC works?
It’s a combination of 5 treatments.
1) Iontophoresis : A non-invasive electrical stimulation charged with negative and positive ions.
Helps to increase blog circulation and lymphatic drainage. Ionization effect last between 36-48 hours after treatment.
2) Thermal Aroma Mask: Conductive healing clay which heats up and gives a relaxing feeling.
Helps to eliminate excess fluid from the body, stimulates the metabolic processes and re-mineralize the skin.
3)Aromatherapy: Cypress essential oil increases circulation and helps to remove toxins and excess fluid from the body and balance the hormones.
Pine essential oil is a natural diuretic, with stimulating and anti-inflammatory activity on the body. Essential oils effect last between 5-7 days after treatment.
4)Algae: A building material for connective tissue, re-mineralize the skin and eliminate toxins.
5)Electro Muscle Stimulation with faradic current: It tightens and tones the muscles.
Helps to detoxifies the extracellular matrix (where collagen is synthesized). Hence, it stimulates the production of collagen resulting in smooth skin.

It was kinda cooling in the beginning and slowly there has a little numbing sensation when it was wiped off.
