Korea Study Room–Part 6

Annyeong Haseyo.. 안녕하세요
My Lovely Readers ♡
Time to learn some new Korean words today (:

Words of the day:
#1. 이거 => I-geo (Which means This.)
#2. 얼마에요 => Eol-ma-eyo (Which means How Much.)
#3. 뭐 => Mwo (Which means What.)

Let’s learn to use #1. 이거 now..
For example…
When you’re not sure what a particular thing is..
You can say: 이거 야? (I-geo Mwo-ya?) / 이거 예요? (I-geo Mwo-ye-yo?)
Which means What is this?

Let’s learn to use #2. 얼마에요 now..
For example…
When you’re asking for the price of something..
You can say: 이거 얼마에요? (I-geo Eol-ma-eyo?)
which means How much is this?

Let’s learn to use #3. 뭐 now..
For example…
When you want to asked your friends what they are doing..
You can text them and say: 해? (Mwo-hae?) / 오늘 해? (O-neul Mwo-hae?)

For 오늘 해, it simply means What are you doing today?
오늘 means today.

Lady A went shopping and she spotted something that she like..
Lady A: 이거 예요? (I-geo Mwo-ye-yo?)
Shop Keeper: It’s a dress.
Lady A: 이거 얼마에요? (I-geo Eol-ma-eyo?)
Shop Keeper:  $30.
